TOB seeks feedback on Sidewalk Seating

The Town has put up a link on Banff.ca seeking comments & feedback from the community on the proposal for outdoor sidewalk seating.
We encourage all members to add their voice to these discussions.
I have serious reservations regarding the sidewalk plans.
I believe it would be more prudent to see how the traffic flows this summer and have that flow assessed by experts in these matters as to whether certain points, based upon applications for licenses, would be suitable for impeding the sidewalk in this way and whether it would have a positive or adverse affect upon the neighbouring businesses.
Once the professionals opinion has been given then we could look at these issues for next summer. The report should be an open document.
